A financially practical way of sustainably producing clothing is upcycling. When the Ljubljana basketball team called Olimpija donated basketball jerseys to our faculty, the project became to combine donated materials and to redefine a personality or period in history. I chose regency, with emphasis on regency under garments, mostly focused on the function, adjustability and “assembling” of several pieces together.

From the donated materials I selected mesh sleeveless jerseys. All of them were reversible, with each side a different colour, a design element/function I kept with further pieces.
